Dr. Debasis Das has more than 15 years of experience and over 4,000 adult and paediatric surgeries to his credit. Dr. Debasis Das is currently associated with Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah, as a Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, where he started the department. Since May 2013 and prior to joining Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, he was associated with Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences as a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, since 2009. He is an active member of many professional societies and has many international and national publications in indexed journals. Dr Das is a reviewer for reputed journals like Annals of Pediatric Cardiology and Indian Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. Dr. Das is a faculty for the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi and is actively involved the DNB Cardiac Surgery teaching program.

Dr. Debasis Das graduated from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in 1998 and then did his General surgery training (MS) from the same institution. He did his Cardiac Surgery training ( MCh) from PGI Chandigarh. After that he did two years Advanced Cardiac Surgery fellowship from Austin Hospital, Melbourne, Australia and one year of Advanced Pediatric Cardiac Surgery fellowship from The Childrens' Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.
